In the editor, the “Get title and thumbnail” option asks your own site’s oEmbed proxy, which contacts YouTube or Vimeo. The GutSlider dashboard also shows a GutSlider video from https://www.youtube-nocookie.com; nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play.
