This plugin connects to the API of the “Digisreda” service (digisreda.ru) – a platform for automated website accessibility scanning against WCAG. Without this connection the plugin doesn’t function: it’s a client to your own digisreda.ru account, not a standalone tool.
The connection is only made after you manually enter your organization’s API key in the plugin’s settings (the “Digisreda” section in wp-admin) – before that, the plugin never contacts digisreda.ru.
Once connected, the plugin sends to digisreda.ru:
- Your site’s name and address (URL) – when adding the site to the dashboard.
- Accessibility widget settings (button position, color, automatic fixes enabled) – when you change them.
- A scan request – when you click “Run scan”.
The plugin never sends your visitors’ personal data, passwords, or WordPress license keys. Your organization’s API key is stored in the WordPress database (as an option with autoload=false) and is only ever sent in the Authorization header when calling the digisreda.ru API.
